Board Roles & Responsibilities

Board Roles & Responsibilities Workshop

Join us for an essential workshop led by Tracy Travis of ImpacTT Collective LLC, designed for current and aspiring nonprofit board members who want to make a real difference in their organizations.

Whether you're new to board service or looking to strengthen your board's effectiveness, this session will clarify what it means to serve with purpose and impact. Tracy will guide participants through the core duties of board members—from governance and fiduciary responsibilities to strategic oversight and community representation.

Why attend?

  • Get clarity on what's expected of board members and how to fulfill your role with confidence

  • Strengthen your organization by understanding how effective boards drive mission success

  • Build better practices for board meetings, decision-making, and accountability

  • Connect with fellow board members from across our community and share experiences

  • Ask questions in a supportive environment where there's no such thing as a silly question

Whether you're considering joining a board, recently appointed, or a seasoned member looking to refresh your approach, this workshop will equip you with practical knowledge to serve your organization and community more effectively.

Registration is FREE thanks to generous grants from Enbridge and WEDC, making this valuable training accessible to everyone in our community. Please let us know you’ll be attending by registering below.

Hosted by Collaborative 523 Inc. as part of our commitment to building stronger nonprofits and community organizations in our region.
