Cathy Yerges - Executive Director
Cathy Yerges leads with a servant's heart, believing collaboration beats competition every time. A Cambridge resident for almost three decades, she raised her family here with her husband and is deeply invested in the community's vitality. With a background in banking and finance, Cathy is passionate about revitalizing Main Street and rural living through community building. She serves as Executive Director and co-founder of Collaborative 523, Inc., driving community development initiatives throughout Cambridge. As a small business advocate, she owns Cambridge Market Cafe and recently opened Mustard Seed Books, creating gathering places where neighbors become friends. Her work centers on fostering collective well-being and strengthening the bonds that make Cambridge home.

Kristopher Tobias - Board President
Kristopher Tobias is a dedicated community volunteer believing in the power of people coming together to make a lasting impact. His leadership is focused on the belief that strong, vibrant communities are built through shared purpose, empathy, and active participation.
A proud Cambridge resident since 2003, Kristopher and his wife have raised their three children in the village. He has contributed his time and energy to numerous community organizations and events, including Collaborative523, community theater, Scouts of America, Grace Lutheran Church, and various local initiatives that strengthen and connect the Cambridge community.

Kayla Sipple
Kayla Sipple is a long-time resident of the greater Cambridge area and a graduate of Cambridge High School. Growing up in the district fostered her deep appreciation for the community's close-knit spirit and its remarkable network of local nonprofits. As an entrepreneur with a Cambridge-based business, Kayla is passionate about contributing to the area's continued growth and vitality. In addition to serving on the Collaborative 523 Inc. Board, she also serves on the Cambridge Community Activities Program (CAP) Board and the Village of Cambridge's Economic Development Committee. Kayla is dedicated to fostering sustainable growth and ensuring that Cambridge continues to thrive as a vibrant and connected rural community.

Shawnee Sullivan
My name is Shawnee Sullivan, and I’ve been a resident of Cambridge for the past 15 years. Both of my children are enrolled in the Cambridge School District. I’ve actively participated in the community by volunteering for various organizations, including the Cambridge School District, Cambridge Library, Cambridge PTO, and Cambridge Farm to School, Inc. I firmly believe that community involvement benefits everyone. In 2025, I established Sullivan Bookkeeping to offer bookkeeping services to small businesses and non-profits. Currently, I’m expanding my business and am thrilled to partner with Collaborative 523, Inc.n goes here

Terry Sivesind
Terry Sivesind has been active as an entrepreneur and angel investor in the Madison area biotechnology industry since starting as one of the early employees at Promega Corporation in 1985.
Since that time, Terry has been involved with the creation of several companies including PanVera, Mirus, Metabiologics, Renovar and Cellectar. He is also the co-founder of Wisconsin Investment Partners, Wisconsin’s first angel investor network. Sivesind is also the founder of the Silver Lining Foundation.
Along with serving on the Board of various companies, Terry is also a member of the UW School of Business Dean’s Advisory Committee, the UW-CALS Dean’s Life Science Committee, the Badger Angel Capital Network, and the Board of the Cambridge State Bank. He holds a B.S. and a MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
